Alona Tropical Beach Resort Panglao Island, Panglao Island

The resort is perfectly located at the quieter end of Alona Beach, with easy access to the beautiful sandy shores. While the rooms are decent with a good view, they are in need of some upgrades and repairs. I appreciated the friendly service from most staff, although some had room for improvement in customer service. Dining options were fairly priced but quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a good stay if you value location over modern amenities.

The hotel has a great location right on Alona Beach, which is a major plus. My room was clean and I found the mattress comfortable, but I missed having a blanket and a mini fridge. The staff arranged my airport taxi quickly, but the overall experience was marred by some issues like the mosquito problem and a lack of amenities.
